次男坊はバカになる？！
長男も次男も同い年というママ友とトーク。
小学校受験を模索している彼女は、小さい頃から長男君をお教室に通わせたり、私と似たような子育てをしてきました。

たとえば、目が見えるか見えないかくらいから、ドッツやフラッシュカードをやったり、クラシック音楽を聞かせたり、画集を見せたり、話しかけもたくさんやったし、本もたくさん読んであげた…と言います。

次男坊には、なんもしてあげてないわ〜と彼女。
はい、はい、はーい！
ここにも、まったく同じ人がいますよ〜！
聞けば、長男氏は、8か月の時には、「時計は？」と聞くと、時計の方を見あげ、「テーブルは？」と聞くと、テーブルをバンバンと叩いたそうな。
が。
次男氏は、おそらく時計もテーブルも知らないんじゃないか…と。
一方で、次男であるがゆえに、長男のおもちゃは長男氏よりも早いうちから使いこなし、寝がえり、はいはい、つかまり立ちも、長男よりちょっとずつ早めにクリアしているんだとか。
次男って、運動系はお兄ちゃんの影響で放っておいてもどんどんできるけど、知的な刺激は、圧倒的に足りない。
この子、ちゃんと言葉がしゃべれるようになるか、心配〜
っていうか、言葉以前に、知的な刺激が足りなさ過ぎて、バカになったらどうしよう！！
うん、うん、わかります。
私も、まったく同じことを感じています。
そんな話で、盛り上がりました。
ちなみに。
おむつの消費も圧倒的に少ないと言います。
うちもまったく同じ。
最近、心を入れ替えて、少し頻繁に替えるようにしていますが、それでも、おいらの時より、おむつの減りがゆっくりです。
きっと、おむつの性能がよくなって、たくさん吸収できるようになったのよ！
…って思うようにしてる

私の三姉弟の例でいうと、
私は小さい頃から英語のテープやら読み聞かせやらされて、
高校の時は家庭教師とかつけられたのに、、、こんなもん。
妹は そんな姉を見て、
「お姉ちゃんみたいにならない！」といい
有名大学に入り、いまは博士号取得を目指してる。
その下の弟は、なんの欲もないけど、
要領よく、頭よく すいすいと難関市立高校＆大学を卒業し、無事に就職中。
第一子の私って。。。。って 毎日思ってます（苦笑
第二子以降の 知的レベルはわからないけど、
間違いなく、要領よく 美味しいところだけ、無駄なく学んでますよ！！！

あっはっは〜。
うちも次女のオムツの消費量少なかったです！そのせいか、オムツが外れるまでの期間も半年遅かった。結果、消費量はトータルでは一緒くらいでした。
でも、保育園児だからか、長女の話すのを聞いているからか、手をかけなかった割に口は達者でした。
そのせいで0歳児の最後なんか、（1歳８ヶ月くらい）0歳クラス定員超過だからって1歳児クラスに無理やり上げられてしまったくらいです。（いくらなんでもそれはやめて欲しいと言ったけど大丈夫、と園はきいてくれなかったんです。（泣）
それでもすぐ溶け込んで、1歳くらい年上の子より、よく分かりしゃべるのでびっくりされてましたっけ。
最近は、私が長女の読み書きを、夫が次女の読み書きを教えています。
